Regrettably, this phrase, while true, seems to lend itself to a theologically false (and often self-serving) interpretation that some doctrines are less central (or unpopular) and therefore may be compromised (or re-interpreted) in the light of fashionable cultural fallacies. All the more reason to cling to the saving Truth of the Gospel in its fullness. (And thank you for your powerful witness to that Truth).
